Lake County Sheriff to Heroin Dealers: We’re Coming for You, Run

A Central Florida sheriff is mad as hell about the heroin problem in his community and he’s not going to take it anymore. Lake County Sheriff Peyton C. Grinnell has posted a video containing a stern warning to dealers in the area that their days of selling heroin are numbered. Check it out above.

In the video, Grinnell — who is flanked by four deputies wearing ski masks — says he’s gotten multiple phone calls from residents concerned about the number of heroin overdoses in Lake County. He encourages law-abiding citizens to call and report if they know of any location where the “poison” is being spread onto Lake County streets. Then he turns his attention to the drug dealers, which is when things really get interesting.

“To the dealers that are pushing this poison, I have a message for you: we’re coming for you,” Grinnell says. “As a matter of fact, our undercover agents have already bought heroin from many of you.
