‘KNIFE CONTROL’? London mayor: ‘There is never a reason to carry a knife’

Is “commonsense knife control” the newest progressive talking point? London is cracking down on knives after an alarming spike in stabbing attacks. The city’s response is to punish everyone by banning all knives and giving a police task force license to stop and search anyone they suspect of carrying a knife.

“No excuses: there is never a reason to carry a knife,” London Mayor Sadiq Khan said on Twitter. “Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law.” Twitter users had some pretty hilarious reactions to his stance on knives.
