Kimber shows off expanded Micro 9, Aegis Elite, KHX platforms at SHOT (PHOTOS)

New for 2018, Kimber exhibited dozens of small frame Micro and well-equipped Aegis Elite and KHX pistols at SHOT Show in Las Vegas last month.
The small-scale Micro series of all-metal single action pistols in .380 ACP and 9mm range from the $679 gray on gray Micro Eclipse with Cyclone G10 grips and 3-dot tritiums to the $1,108 Micro 9 Covert with urban camo Crimson Trace laser grips.

The Micro Desert Covert comes with a sand slide over a black frame, TFX day/night sights and a Hogue grip for $755. It is among almost a dozen Micros introduced in 2018.
Advertised as “striking yet utilitarian” Kimber’s Aegis Elite series offers several variants that are optics ready in Custom, Pro, and Ultra (3-inch) sizes and in 9mm and .45ACP.
The stainless Aegis Elite Pro (OI), typical of the series, comes standard with a Vortex Optics Venom 6MOA red dot, 24 lines-per-inch front strap checkering, and rounded heel frame for an MSRP of $1,395.
