After last night’s decisive override of Missouri Governor Jay Nixon’s veto, the NRA sent the following email blast: Governor Nixon’s veto of pro-gun self-defense legislation, Senate Bill 656, was overridden by the Missouri General Assembly. With this historic override, Senate Bill 656 will go into law allowing Missourians to carry a firearm for self-defense without a permit beginning on January 1, 2017, in addition to other important self-defense measures.
