Keanu Lights it up for Wick 2

“Keanu and the guys at [87eleveN Action Design] are putting in WORK!,” the caption to this video reads on YouTube.

87eleveN being “the industry’s premiere Action Design and Fight Choreography Team” that worked with Keanu Reeves on the movie John Wick and it’s sequel.

“For us it was just what is the next chapter? What is the continuation of this story?,” Reeves says of Wick 2. “Opening up the world – the underground world. The world behind the world in terms of the assassins. Kind of evolving the action – if the first one was a black belt, then this one is third degree black belt. It’s such a fun project and a great character.”

Almost as awesome as the ‘shredding’ video that went viral this weekend is another video of Keanu. In it, Jessica Hook catches him smiling while timing his instructor through the course, then giving him a hard time after his run.

The sequel, John Wick: Chapter 2, is set for release on February 10, 2017 and if this YouTube video’s popularity is any indication, it’s going to be a hit.
