The Schmidt-Rubin rifles are a series of legendarily accurate firearms. The Swiss are famous for maintaining their neutrality by keeping one hand free and the other on the hilt of a sword, and for many years the wonderful K31 was that sword. These straight-pull rifles are made with unparalleled craftsmanship, but how will it fare on the run and gun course?

Note: The K31 isn’t a Schmidt-Rubin. Both men were long dead before the rifle was designed. The rifle was actually a new design from arms maker Eidgenössische Waffenfabrik under the direction of Colonel Adolf Furrer, and is one of the most accurate military rifles we’ve ever fired, with 1 MOA groups being typical.
