Judge rejects state’s motion to dismiss “high-capacity” magazine ban case

Judge Mary Miles Teachout says attorneys arguing for and against a high-capacity magazine ban in Vermont need to fight it out in court before she decides on the constitutionality of a law passed last year.
The state filed a motion to dismiss the case, arguing that the gun owners and sellers bringing the case did not have legal standing to challenge the constitutionality of the ban.
