AUSTIN, TEXAS – The Texas Firearms Festival is proud to name Jon Wayne Taylor as the annual event’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr.Taylor is now responsible for the Festival’s day-to-day operations and its long-term future. “As Texas’s former Executive Director of Economic Development and Tourism, Jon has the skills we need to take the Texas Firearms Festival to the next level,” the event owners’ say. “More than that . . .

Jon is a Texas native and former Army combat medic. He’s a gun guy through and through. His passion for firearms and Americans’ gun rights perfectly embodies the spirit of this unique ‘come and shoot it event.”

Taylor will work with Austin’s High Beam Events to produce the 2016 Texas Firearms Festival, scheduled for October 14 and 15th at Best of the West Shooting Sports in Liberty Hill. Taylor says the 2016 Texas Firearms Festival will be bigger and better than before.
