In his first show back since the horrific mass shooting took place in Florida, Jimmy Fallon opened Monday’s show with a pledge to march with the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School next month at March for Our Lives in Washington D.C.

Here’s what he said:

“The Tonight Show” host said he plans to stand in solidarity with the students and bring his wife and two children to the march “to demand action to prevent gun violence.”

He virtue signaled and praised the students for their courage in standing up to gun violence and called the movement a “revolution.”

“This is our first full show back since the tragic shooting in Florida, and first of all, I want to say that our hearts go out to the families of the teachers and students that were killed,” he said.

“But our hearts also go out to the students who survived because what they had to live through and what they have to live with is something I can’t even imagine.”
