Jessie Duff Wins 2015 Single Stack Nationals
Miami, FL -(Ammoland.com)- Taurus salutes Jessie Duff for her first place finish in the 2015 Single Stack National Championships located in Barry, Illinois this past weekend.
This year’s match had over 400 national shooters. The demanding course challenged competitors of every skill level to perform their best as they engaged each stage of the event. Duff won eight out of her 14 stages to capture first place in the Ladies Division. Last weekend’s title marked the second time in the 2015 shooting season Duff has finished atop a competition full of the country’s top shooters.
“Single Stack Nationals is one of my favorite matches each year,” said Duff. “This competition allows me to shoot the Taurus on such a high level of competition. For this match I chose minor power factor over major, providing two extra rounds per magazine, as well as minimizing recoil for faster target acquisition. I can’t give enough praise to the USPSA and the 1911 Single Stack Society for the great job they did this year, designing fast-paced and exciting stages. This makes for a fun match for both competitors and spectators,” …read more
