The owner of JJ’s Corner told WJTV shortly after they closed down someone tried to break into the store located on Northside Drive and in light of recent events and out of fear for his safety, he says he did what he had to do.

“If he was coming inside and I didn’t do anything, he was going to kill me,” says Ali Nancer, business owner.
