Ithaca leaked a pair of shorty non-NFA shotties at SHOT Show (PHOTOS)

It looks like Ohio-based Ithaca Gun Company may be about to join the cool kids by marketing a line of NFA-compliant “firearms” that steer clear of a tax stamp.
While roaming at SHOT Show in Las Vegas last week Guns.com came across a pair of firearms exhibited by Ithaca at the MKS booth based on the company’s classic Model 37 shotguns. The two prototypes included a trench-gun style 12 gauge with a hardwood corn cob and ” sawed-off” style pistol grip complete with butt plate, and a more stylised model with a thumbhole grip and American flag finish.

Ithaca reps were mum on prices, details and anything else to do with the pair of pumps, but did nod when asked if they were the company’s answer to popular non-shotgun firearms such as the Mossberg Shockwave and Remington Tac-14. Notably, both of the aforementioned larger players expanded their respective lines with detachable mags at SHOT Show while other companies, for instance, Charles Daly, are moving into the “not a shotgun” market.
