Italian Firearms Group announced it’s bringing the Sabatti Rover Tactical US to American consumers for the first time.
Sabatti, who for the last 400 years has produced shotguns and rifles for hunters and target shooters, serves up the Rover Tactical built with precise attention to detail. The Rover Tactical is built around a stable two-lug bolt system, boasting a tactical handle with a removable knob.
The 26-inch, heavy contour barrel is cold hammer forged and touts a 5/8×24 threaded barrel for suppressor or muzzle brake. A thread protector is included. The barrel also features Multi-Radial Rifling, or MMR. In lie of traditional lands and grooves, the MMR uses two offset radiuses that impart spin on the bullet. This seals the bullet better to the bore, reducing stress on the projectile and producing less copper fouling. The overall result, according to IFG, is better accuracy with increased muzzle velocity.
The rifle’s stock utilizes durable composite material to withstand harsh environmental conditions. Equipped with an adjustable length of pull and cheek height, the stock is designed specifically with target and competitive shooters in mind.
