RAMAT HASHARON, Israel -(Ammoland.com)- Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) – a leader in the production of combat-proven small arms for law enforcement agencies, governments, and armies around the world – will market its TAVOR X95 Bullpup Rifle in Canada starting from the first quarter of 2017.

According to Shlomi Sabag, IWI’s CEO, “After years of activity in the Canadian market and the successful sale of the TAVOR rifle and the JERICHO pistol, the company is proud to launch its cutting-edge TAVOR X95 rifle in this market. Deployed by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and many other armies throughout the world, the TAVOR X95 is one of the most advanced bullpup rifles available, combining long barrel with compact dimensions, to provide high accuracy with enhanced maneuverability.”

Based on the US model, the Canadian TAVOR X95 will be adapted to Canadian laws, with an 18.6 inch barrel. The rifle will be manufactured and assembled in Israel on the same production line used for the US market, and will therefore carry the “IWI US” markings.
