“Knowledge is Power”, the old and infinitely wise adage goes. When it comes to arguing against the inherently racist history of gun control, you are going to need a lot of it, but it helps to have a list of books to read and reference along the way.

While I’m sharing a few of my favorites with you today, this is by no means a comprehensive list of all the books out there on the issue. And just because you’ve done your homework, that doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be able to persuade every gun grabber. However, you may inspire a few fence-sitters to think twice.

I frequently refer to the fact that prominent black figures in modern history have used their right to bear arms as a means of not only self-defense, but protection from a tyrannical government with immoral laws.
