If you were one of the millions of people to watch the 88th Annual Academy Awards Sunday, you may have noticed some celebrities trying to make a very subtle, albeit very strong, anti-gun statement.

The likes of Steve Carell, Adam McKay, Bryan Cranston and Patricia Arquette were among the attendees wearing bracelets with “#Enough” inscribed on it, a reference to the number of Americans killed by gun violence each year.

The bracelets were distributed as part of a partnership between the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and the jewelry company MyIntent, according to Mic.

“Each bracelet is a moving tribute to one of the thousands of Americans affected by gun violence every year, and bears the initials and age of [a gun violence] victim,” the Brady campaign said in a statement.
