With the success of the the 6.5 Creedmoor round, its no surprise that HSM Ammunition unveiled the caliber on its Trophy Gold and Game King hunting ammo series.
HSM’s Trophy Gold already boasts 36 calibers while the new Game King is offered in 48 separate rounds. The 6.5 Creedmoor offers one more option to hunters looking to efficiently take down targets.
The Trophy Gold 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge is topped with a 140 grain Berger VLD Hunting bullet. Rigorously tested by HSM, the Trophy Gold achieved a recorded velocity of 2,780 feet per second under natural conditions.
The Game King round utilizes a 140 grain Sieera GameKing SP bullet. Tested under natural conditions, the round yielded a velocity of 2,750 feet per second.
Both rounds attained sub-MOA performance at 200 yards.
HSM says it meticulously matches on the best components to “maximize the cartridges’ potential.”
“The new 6.5 Creedmoor loadings are not exception to this HSM tradition,” the company added in a press release.
