It was all things concealed carry, self-defense, and personal safety this weekend at the NRA’s first ever Carry Guard Expo at The Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee.  Though there were no huge product splashes at the event–Glock kept their new Gen 5 pistol out of sight–plenty of newer guns, holsters, and gear were on display.  Here are some of the hottest items we found on the floor of the show.
The fine folks at Savoy Leather had one of the busiest booths on the show floor, and it was designs like this that caught the eye. All handmade of leather, if Savoy doesn’t have it, they can make it. (Photo: Kristin Alberts/Guns.com)
One of several new-for-2017 small frame revolvers from Smith & Wesson, the Model 69 is a concealable 44 Mag/44Spl. (Photo: Kristin Alberts/Guns.com)
One of our favorite takeaways from the Expo–this bookcase from Secret Comparment Furniture. The top opens first, releasing the sides, which in turn allow access to a final hidden compartment. Owner, designer, and builder Jill Herro creates some high-quality, safe, hide-in-plain-sight pieces. (Photo: Kristin Alberts/Guns.com)
Ruger has dozens of newer model, concealable pistols and revolvers. But one of the most interesting is this LCR chambered in .327 Federal Magnum. With recoil
