Michael Bane sits down with long-time friend Gary Ramey of Honor Defense to discuss Gary’s journey in the firearms industry.

Ramey describes his experience as building from the ground up. Within the last two years, Honor Defense has gone from last place in the industry to sitting in the top 25, in terms of production. The firearms industry is constantly changing and improving, and Honor Defense is keeping up.

Honor Defense firearms are in the process of becoming approved for police secondary carry. The approval of police departments plays an important role in enhancing the image and reputation of Honor Defense.

Continuing the topic of reputation, Ramey recalls a situation where an online reviewer discredits the company and states their firearm does not work as it should. Ramey then made the effort to track down the reviewed firearm to its new owner- a police department. The police officer tells Ramey the gun is working perfectly and he has not had any trouble with its performance. Bane explains to Ramey that he will not make decisions about a firearm unless he himself has shot it. You can’t always believe what you read on the internet!
