Two suspects went to a home in Hartford, CT and held the homeowner at gunpoint. The homeowner had a concealed pistol permit, and put it to good use.

The police received a call at 11 p.m. that reported a home invasion in progress on Tredeau St. and that shots had been fired. When police arrived they heard the story of how the suspects approached the homeowner and held him at gunpoint.

When the armed suspects pointed there weapons at him, the homeowner then drew his pistol and shot each intruder multiple times. According to reports, one of the invaders was shot in the arm and chest, and the other was shot in the head, groin, and leg. Both suspects are listed in critical but stable condition.

The two thugs are from Massachusetts and are now patients at the Hartford Hospital. While the two invaders are recovering from their gunshot wounds, the homeowner did not suffer any major injuries.

The mother and child that were in the house were not harmed at all thanks to the quick reaction of the homeowner. Police are recovering video surveillance from the residence to aid in the investigation. The police also found that along with the …read more
