A Chino Hills, California, homeowner snapped a telling photo of himself pointing the business end of a gun at three teens who tried to break into his home. The family speaks little English, so a neighbor, Tony Tran, helped out by explaining what happened Monday afternoon when the family heard unwanted guests in their backyard. Tran explained that when the family came home from the supermarket, they noticed somebody jump the fence and try to pry into the home. The homeowner panicked, Tran continued. The homeowner pulled out a gun, fired a warning shot, and held the three people there until the cops showed up. They called 911 and deputies arrived. In all, five teens were arrested for attempted burglary. Neighbors wonder why this crew of burglars chose this home, with bars on the windows – described as the Fort Knox of the cul-de-sac – and with a homeowner who’s not afraid to protect his wife and children. “If that’s what he felt he needed to do that’s what he needed to do.
