Holosun Presents Solar Failsafe Technology

Optics that feature this technology harness environmental light energy to keep the reticle illuminated even without a battery. Available as an option on a variety of Holosun optics, Solar Fail Safe technology ensures the device will continue to operate without battery power.

All Holosun optics come standard with an impressive 50,000+ hour battery life; however, Holosun knows that all batteries will eventually fail. It is critical to Holosun and their customers that an optic continues to operate in any environment, even if the battery does not work. Solar Failsafe uses environmental light to keep the reticle powered on. The brightness of the reticle changes with the amount of light available, so the optic will always be as bright, or as dim, as the environment demands. When light is available for the optic to gather, the reticle will be displayed.
