HK SP5: A Quick Overview of the New MP5 Variant

Last December, we reported the announcement of the Heckler & Koch SP5, to great fan fare. At the latest SHOT Show in Las Vegas, we were finally able to get a little hands on with the newest civilian incarnate of the legendary MP5, and it was glorious. The HK SP5 did not disappoint.

Though our video chronicles an SBR version, most civilians will be looking at the pistol variant. SB Tactical even has a brace fo the SP5 now, making it even more attractive.

Designed and manufactured to meet the definition of a civilian pistol, the SP5 includes authentic features. A Navy barrel with threaded tri-lug adaptor, paddle magazine release and fluted chamber all come standard.
