Hillary Clinton: NRA Believes ‘Black Helicopters’ Coming To Seize Your Guns

On October 7, Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton interrupted her numerous pledges for gun control just long enough to try to discredit the NRA and discourage its membership.

She did this by comparing negotiations with the group to negotiations with Iran and suggesting the group keeps its members worked up in a frenzy by saying “they’re the only thing that’s going to stop the black helicopters from landing in the front yard and people’s guns being seized.”

Clinton made these comments after days of campaigning for expanding background checks, increasing the time allotted for background checks–increasing it from a three day maximum to an indefinite time frame–increasing the amount of regulations on gun shows, increasing the amount of regulations on online gun sales, allowing shooting victims and their families to sue gun makers when criminals misuse guns, and changing the definition of domestic violence so as to broaden it and bar whole new categories of people from gun possession.

She began pushing these specific gun control proposals on October 5, restating them over and over at campaign stops. Moreover, she pledged that she will enact them unilaterally via executive order if elected.
