Hi-Lux introduced a new tactical riflescope designed for close to medium range applications, including 3-Gun matches.
The aptly named Hi-Lux Close to Medium Range FFP Scope is a 1-8×26 first focal plane set-up touting an illuminated CW-4 reticle. When set at 1X, the outer horseshoe of the CW-4 reticle directs the user’s gaze to the center featuring a 1 MOA dot while the large outer horseshoe allows for quicker target acquisition.
At a higher power, the outer horseshoe drops out of the sight picture in order to reveal a small, inner horseshoe with dots and crosses spaced 1 mRAD apart. These can be used for wind hold and distance estimations. The scope offers dots that indicate every whole MIL.
The CW-4 reticle boasts options in both red or green illumination and includes three night vision light levels. The Hi-Lux scope features a 34mm tube design with Zero-LOK turrets that aim to prevent accidental windage or elevation adjustments. The turrets deliver 0.1 MILs of adjustment per click.
The Hi-Lux Close to Medium Range FFP Scope is available with a MSRP of $840.
