2024 marks the 135th anniversary of the founding of the FN factory in Herstal, Belgium. No Herstal Group, FN’s parent company, will be changing its name to FN Browning Group. This encapsulates the company’s two major brands – both of which have a lot of history behind them.Herstal Group made the announcement as the company celebrated ‘ a historic net profit of 75 million euros [$81 million]’ in fiscal year 2023. The company said that the change would be “supported by a comprehensive brand identity” and accompanied by the announcement of a special ‘Ars Mechanica Exhibition’ dedicated to the Group’s brands and their contribution to Liège’s industrial heritage, to be held at La Boverie in Liège (Belgium) from April to August 2025.
