TALLADEGA, Ala. -(Ammoland.com)- Delivering a memorable showing at the 2016 Talladega 600, held Dec. 6-11, Eric Herrin, 53, of Raleigh, NC, overtook the 5-Gun Aggregate by a commanding lead of 1192-27x – a margin of nearly 100 points to his competitors.

Herrin managed to outshoot last year’s 5-Gun winner, Jennifer Creasy, 38, of Montgomery, AL, which is a feat he was unable to reach in 2015 as he finished just short in second place.

During last year’s inaugural Talladega 600, Herrin led the As-Issued 1911 and the Military & Police Pistol matches and reached 12th overall in the Congressional 30 rifle event, along with earning the overall EIC Aggregate title.

The versatile marksman came back this year to reclaim his spot at the top of the Military & Police Match, landed in second during the As-Issued match and retained his EIC Aggregate title as the overall competitor.

Eric Pauls, 50, of Fenton, MO, topped the Carbine Match by only one point over second place finisher Sean Leighton (54 of Enola, PA). …Read the Rest
