TEXAS — This week, Federal District Judge Reed O’Connor ruled that a set of federal restrictions regarding the transfer handguns was unconstitutional. When citing the regulations collectively known as The Federal Interstate Handgun Transfer Ban, Judge O’Connor in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division ruled that the restrictions exceeded any real governmental reasoning and unduly burdened the exercise of a constitutional right.
