Gun buyer’s race not government’s business

Recently U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., joined Senator Roy Blunt, R- Mo., in introducing legislation which would prohibit the federal government from requiring Americans to disclose their race or ethnicity in connection with the purchase of a firearm. In 2014, it was reported that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) implemented a change to Form 4473, requiring firearm purchasers to disclose both their race and ethnicity. …read more
