Here’s an example of insanity:

ROMEOVILLE – The Romeoville Police Department will conduct a “Gun Buy-Back” program April 11.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 11 at the Romeoville Police Department’s bond/release entrance, located at the west end of the police building, 1050 W. Romeo Road in Romeoville.

Residents can turn in firearms, no questions asked, according to a department news release. Citizens can remain anonymous and will not face any penalties for unlawful firearms.
