It doesn’t matter if you call them nuggets, the 3-Line Rifle, Vintovka Mosina, or whathaveyou, because the M91 Mosin-Nagant is perhaps one of the best-known bolt guns in circulation.
First adopted in 1891 by the Russian Empire, and still arguably in factory production, tens of millions of Mosins have been made and used in just about every war you can think of– including of course World War I.
This latter fact makes it the subject of C&Rsenal’s Small Arms of WWI Primer series and Othais and Mae delve into the Mosin in feature-length (the above video is almost two hours long — still shorter than Dr. Zhivago — but no less a saga when compared to your typical gun vlog uploads) but don’t worry, it is seriously worth it, especially for the price!
