man pulls gun to stop stabbing and is then fired

A concealed carry permit holder was carrying his gun when he went to work on Wednesday morning. And after witnessing a brutal stabbing he intervened by pulling his gun on the attacker who was stabbing a 52-year-old GM employee.

Even though his actions more than likely saved the victim’s life, the GM employee was fired on the spot for having a firearm and was promptly escorted off the property.

GM is disputing the firing of the employee but from his account is sounded a lot like instant termination. We will see if he gets re-instated.

The stabbing happened right outside the main entrance of the central office building where the 52-year-old victim works.

Police say the suspect, a 32-year-old woman, came to see the employee. They argued in the lobby, then went outside where the suspect pulled a knife, stabbing her multiple times in the neck, back and abdomen.
