Greg Wohler, owner of Valkyrie Combat, discussed the Glock pistol and some of the modifications you can do to make it into the ultimate platform.
Even though the Glock platform has become synonymous with handgun, there are still lots of complaints about it. Common ones are about the trigger, the ergonomics, the fat back strap, the finger grooves and the trigger undercut. So, there is room for improvement. Fortunately, not only is the Glock one of the most popular handguns in the world, but it’s also one of the most customizable.
Wohler’s shop has spent the last 12 years fine-tuning Glocks for law enforcement and civilians. He thinks he’s come up with the ultimate solutions for fine-tuning Glock pistols with his Beowulf package (available on Valkyrie’s site soon).
But Wohler also thinks you can do a lot of custom work on a Glock yourself such as basic trigger jobs and stippling. And yes, just in case you’re wondering, if you mess up your gun one night because you drank a bottle of whiskey and took a soldering iron to it, yes, Valkyrie Combat can fix it for you.
