Smyrna, GA -(AmmoLand.com)- GLOCK, Inc. made significant donations at the recent 145th NRA Annual Meeting in Louisville, Ky. The donation ceremony was attended by industry media, representatives from different divisions of the National Rifle Association, and representation from the Scholastic Shooting Sport Foundation (SSSF).

Josh Dorsey, Vice President at GLOCK, presented the checks on May 20, 2016, at the GLOCK booth (#4239). Accepting for the NRA was NRA President, Allan D. Cors and the NRA Executive Director of General Operations, Kyle Weaver. The NRA Whittington Center and Whittington Adventure Camp were represented by Executive Director, Wayne Armacost. Glen Hoyer, Director of the NRA Law Enforcement Division accepted the annual donation of 30 GLOCK pistols.

In honor of GLOCK’s 30th Anniversary in the United States, GLOCK presented the NRA National Firearms Museum with one of the 30 custom engraved GLOCK 17 Gen4 pistols, engraved by Master Engraver, Mark Hoechst. Accepting the one-of-a-kind pistol was NRA Museums Director, Jim Supica and Senior Curator, Philip Scheier.
