Gabby Giffords and company are desperate. As an organization, they don’t really seem to have anything going for them. They have no real victories, and Giffords’ husband, Mark Kelly is constantly proved to be either the wrongest human being in the universe on the topic of guns or an outright liar. There’s just not much for the organization to hang its hat on other than the legacy of Gabby Giffords status as a survivor of violence.

Now they’re suing the Trump administration over documents they claim the BATFE failed to turn over.

The Trump administration is being sued by a gun control group founded by former Rep. Gabby Giffords for documents related to the National Rifle Association’s influence over the president’s gun views.

The Arizona Democrat’s organization, the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for failing to comply with Freedom of Information Act requests to turn over the administration’s correspondence with the NRA, according to the Huffington Post.

The organization was specifically looking for records concerning Trump administration policies on concealed carry reciprocity, gun silencers, bump stocks and assault weapon exports.
