Galco introduced more inside-the-waistband holster fits to accommodate Ruger’s Security 9 pistol, launched late last year.
Galco added the Corvus, King-Tuk, King-Tuke Air, N3, Scout, SkyOps, Stow-N-Go, Summer Comfort, V-Hawk and WalkAbout holsters to the Security-9 arsenal.
The Security 9 is Ruger’s 15+1 capacity mid-sized pistol, slipping into the sub-$400 category. Muscling its way into the crowded polymer-framed handgun arena, the Security 9 features a four-inch barrel and 7.24-inch overall length. The Security 9 sets itself apart from other polymer competitors turning its back on striker fired in favor of a hammer-fired system.

Though Galco is better known for its leather styled holster options, the company has recently expanded its rigs to include hybrid models. The King Tuk is one such design, pairing a Kydex holster shell to a premium steer-hide backing ultimately bridging the gap between the plastic and leather bound worlds. Holster options for the Security 9 range from the more modernized KingTuck model to the more traditional all leather V-Hawk IWB.
