GA Man Blows Leg Off Shooting Lawn Mower Packed With Tannerite (Video)

If you have never messed around with tannerite, that’s okay. It’s loud, dangerous, and guaranteed to tick off your neighbors. If you have the space and the common sense to use it, then it can be a “blast”. Just make sure you know what you’re doing. My last experience was a drop freezer filled with more tanerite than I would like to admit. We were a couple hundred yards past what was recommended and the top of the freezer landed about 20 feet in front of us.

Like the sheriff in the video says, you are supposed to give yourself roughly 100 yards for every pound used. If you can’t make a shot from that distance, then you probably shouldn’t be using it. The guy in the video was less than 40 feet away when he ignited the lawn mower packed with tannerite. Didn’t work out too well for him.
