USA-(Ammoland.com)- Thinking back to her senior year of high school, Natasha Dinsmore, now 30, remembered how she thought she had it all figured out. She had earned a scholarship to play field hockey (the sport she loved) at a university in Pennsylvania and had landed one of the few slots in the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange – a scholarship program designed for students wanting to become completely immersed in the German culture.

The trip to Germany was, in her mind, just something fun to do before college – but in reality, it was the start of a chain of events that would lead her to some of the most unique experiences of her life. They were her “it happened for a reason” moments.

“It was October 16, 2003 – it was a Tuesday. I will never forget it!” Natasha said as she laughed.
