Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) took to Facebook to repost a video from 2015 that asks a very poignant, and appropriate, question in light of this week’s events.

The video, which features Gowdy grilling a Department of Homeland Security official about the “no-fly list”, shines a spotlight on a fact not many people can answer about the Second Amendment when their feet are facing the fire:

“Can you name another constitutional right that is chilled until we find out it is chilled, and then we have to petition the government to get it back? Is there another constitutional right we treat the same way for American citizens as we do the second amendment?”
