Weatherby recently announced the debut of its newest shotgun line, the Weatherby 18i. Moreover, the new semi-automatic comes in three variants, including Waterfowler, Deluxe and Synthetic models.

Firstly, the 18i series of semi-automatic shotguns utilize the proven inertia system, according to Weatherby. Also, the receiver features a one-piece design machined from billet aluminum. Additionally, the design delivers strength and reliability for high-volume shooting. Further, the 18i provides reliable cycling in an evenly-weighted gun, according to Weatherby.

The 18i Synthetic model features a 12-gauge, 28-inch barrel with a 3 1/2-inch Super Magnum chamber. Additionally, the Synthetic model utilizes an advanced polymer stock designed for a seamless fit to the shooter with a soft touch area on the cheek rest and aggressive texture in the palm and foregrip, according to Weatherby. Also, the material stands up to harsh environments. Finally, the safety resides behind the trigger for easy manipulation. Finally, the Synthetic retails for $1,099.
