Gold Medal Berger has hit the Federal Premium ammunition line, offering precision shooters a more reliable load for nailing long distance targets.
The Gold Medal Berger series brings the most popular Precision Rifle Series event round to a factory load, with Federal’s ammunition boasting an advanced boat-tail bullet with a high ballistic coefficient. This provides the flattest trajectories, less wind drift and precise long-range accuracy. The new rounds use Gold Medal match primers, Federal brass and specially formulated propellant to achieve the best performance.

The ammunition series comes in three styles determined by caliber — Berger Juggernaut OTM, Hybrid OTM and BT Target. Federal currently stocks four of the most popular calibers for long range shooting events. The .223 Rem load comes in a 73-grain Berger BT target with the 308 Win offering a 185-grain Berger Juggernaut OTM load. The 6.5 Grendel and the booming 6.5 Creedmoor both feature a 130-grain Hybrid OTM.
The Gold Medal Berger series offers 20-round boxes priced under $35.
