Colorado – -(Ammoland.com)- New details have emerged that an agent with the FBI’s elite Hostage Rescue Team may have opened fire on Robert “LaVoy” Finicum”, one of the leaders of the standoff in Oregon in January, The Washington Post reported.

When authorities tried to halt the vehicles leaving the standoff with the leaders of the standoff inside, an altercation with foggy details ended in two Oregon state troopers killing LaVoy.

Eight survivors were arrested.

The new details include the conclusion that “FBI HRT operators fired two shots as Mr. Finicum exited the truck, and one shot hit the truck.”

The trouble is, the FBI agents who fired the shots never disclosed the fact that they had fired them. The agents denied firing assault rifles, but an Oregon State Police officer testified that he “spotted two copper-colored rifle casings near the spot where the FBI agents were standing,” that were used by the highly specialized Hostage Rescue Team, not the Oregon State police.

Those copper casings were never recovered, the Washington Post reported. But the FBI footage showed the agents with flashlights searching for something. …Read the Rest
