Father holds intruder at gunpoint until help arrives

A Bloomfield resident, 18-year-old Garrett Harlan Inghram, has been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary early Saturday morning at 112 Goodloe Ave. According to a press release from Sgt. Mike Clark of the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call received at 4:40 a.m. of a burglary in progress at the home of Chris and Heather Stevens. Heather Stevens told officers the intruder had entered the home through their juvenile daughter’s bedroom window.
