Listen, if you’ve got beef with defending and upholding the Second Amendment, you’re wrong.

However, most folks are not entirely to blame for misplaced convictions on the topic — with the constant barrage of media-led misinformation campaigns, someone who is not committed to sorting through all the literature, facts, and figures (real or imagined) could become confused awful quickly.

However, there’s a profound difference between the kind of confused, apathetic anti-guner I just described to you and Illinois State Representative Fred Crespo.

Crespo doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and he’s one of the folks that make the decisions in this big, wide world of ours.

In a recent letter written to his constituents Crespo bragged on his anti-gun action, citing his support for Senate Bill 1469 which, according to him — and he’s dead serious — “prohibit the sale and possession of high capacity magazines which turn regular firearms into fully automatic weapons.”

Take a moment to process that. I’ll wait. You can even read the full letter here if you feel so inclined.
