Elderly Man Shoots Abusive Suspect In Mouth In Self Defense

The suspect spent two weeks in the hospital after the elderly man whom he has known for many years shot him in the mouth. The elderly man suffered a severe beating however before he pulled the trigger to shoot.

It happened in Defuniak Springs, Florida. The Walton County sheriff’s office released that the victim did know the attacker, and in fact, once called him grandson (even though there was no blood relation).

The attacker, Justin Carter, showed up at the house of Michael Fray demanding to speak to his wife alone. When they both refused, things took a violent turn. Mr. Fray knew that Justin Carter was on drugs at the time when this started to turn sour. They repeatedly told him to vacate the property and he refused.

That is when Mrs. Fray ran to the backyard and dialed 911. That is when Justin went into a rage severely beating the face of Michael numerous times and finally smashing his head into the cabinet. Michael thought he was going to die when he pulled out his .38 from his pocket. Michael shot Justin with one shot in the mouth.
