USA -(Ammoland.com)- The NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show, held Feb. 4-12 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is billed as the world’s largest consumer outdoor show. While nearly 200,000 attendees travel from across the country to meet with manufacturers and retailers to learn about and purchase new gear for their favorite outdoor activity, the NRA also goes to great lengths to promote its educational and recreational programs at the event.

While the mainstream media and “gun safety” organizations promote a gun-control message, we’ll continue to be the only group offering a real accident prevention solution.

A new attraction this year was the Eddie Eagle Kid Zone. Over the nine-day show, thousands of youngsters immersed themselves in a kid-friendly experience featuring face painting, wildlife identification and even some basketball. The fun came with an opportunity to share Eddie’s simple live-saving message: STOP! Don’t Touch. Run Away. Tell A Grownup.
