DoubleStar launches a new AR-15 platform, the ZERO Carbine Rifle, in which the company says it expertly balances accuracy, weight, and durability.
The ZERO Carbine Rifle features a 16-inch Wilson Air Gauged heavy barrel with 1:8 twist paired with a 15.5-inch M-LOK compatible handguard. The barrel sports an Alpha Compensator as well as an over-molded ERGO Ambi Sure Grip that delivers a comfy grip whether the shooter dons gloves or not. The rifle rounds out its furniture with an ACE SOCOM stock, according to DoubleStar. The company says the rifle’s accouterments deliver a compact build with elevated features.
“The Alpha Compensator keeps the muzzle flat and fast, while the new Cloak handguard keeps the barrel cool and ventilated, all while providing a slim profile aluminum handguard that will accept all the necessary accessories,” DoubleStar said in a news release.
Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the direct gas impingement AR-15 is available with a 30-round magazine. The ZERO Carbine Rifle retails for $1,479.
