Did Katie Couric Actually Apologize to Gun Owners for Misrepresenting Them in Documentary?

By now you have probably seen the video from Katie Couric’s documentary on guns wherein she asks an ignorant question and then makes it look like the gun owners had no clue how to answer it. If you haven’t seen this portion of the “Under the Gun” documentary you can see it below.

It’s an obvious attempt by an anti-gun network to blatantly lie and misrepresent the truth because they have nothing else to stand on. The truth is not on their side.

Now Couric is attempting to apologize after being called out on this egregious attempt to slam gun owners, but many are questioning of this is really an apology.

Couric only tried to address the issue after the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) called her out. You see, they were recording the interview as well. Smart, especially considering what happened next.
