Despite Media Claims of a “Trump Slump”, 2017 May Break Last Year’s Record-Setting Gun Sales

If the FBI’s gun background check data is any indication, and it is, we may actually knock last year’s gun sale total on its tukas.

According to the FBI, a total of 12,601,102 checks were run in the first six months of 2017. Last year saw a record 27,538,673 checks conducted and while we may only be on pace to break 25 million checks this year, according to industry representatives, current cut-rate deals and manufacturer incentives could spike sales.
