MAC tests a Norinco SVD against a Romanian PSL, against a Russian Molot Vepr.

The Soviet-designed DMRs have a “cool factor” that cannot be denied, but unless you just have to have a 7.62x54R, I think you’d be better off investing in a good AR-15 in 6.5 Grendel, or a AR-10 in .308 Winchester or .260 Remington, which can shoot tighter groups for less money than all but the Vper.
